1 : Start from Argentière cable-car 1230m,
reach col des Grands Montets
3233m ; ski down and skin up to refuge d’Argentière 2771. Ascent : 220m

2 : Argentière hut 2771m , col du Chardonnet 3323m, fenêtre de Saleina
3267m, Trient hut. Ascent 1200m

Day
3 : ski down to Champex (1800m).
Taxi to Verbier, Cable-car toward Mont-Fort, skin up to col de la Chaux 2940m, col de Momin, la Rosablanche
3336m Down toward Prafleuri hut 2662m. Ascent 1200m

4 : Prafleuri hut 2662m, col des Roux 2804m, pas du chat and Dix
hut 2928m. Ascent 700m.

5 : Dix hut 2928m, Pigne d'Arolla 3796m,
Vignettes hut 3160m. Ascent : 870m

6 : Vignettes hut 3160m, col de l’Evêque 3392m, col Collon 3082m, col
du Mont-Brulé 3213m, col de Valpeline 3562m, and ski down to Zermatt (down ski 1600m).

Your ski
and fitness level
On this trip
you need to be a good skier able to ski with a back pack load of 10 to 12kg
every kind of snow you can encounter in off-piste. Furthermore you need to be
well trained for long ascent on ski-touring. This trip is recommended to healthy
people who already have an experience of ski touring.
